The site tour was led by Jess Roberts who will be the art administrator present at the new center when it opens possibly in late summer this year. Her first impressions on entered through the gates, “This is our hidden gem and our jewel is in the setting stage. In San Diego we are still trying to make sure that everyone knows that the arts are essential. Changing the San Diego Regional Arts and Culture Coalitions long-winded name to (SDAM) is a re-branding exercise which strongly makes this point.
