Barbara Allen Chamblee, 82, formerly of Ward, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully on April 25 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was a devoted mother and Mamaw who loved spending time with her family. Her favorite pastimes were taking her son, Mark, to town to shop for bargains and taking care of her grandchildren.  She was member of First Baptist Church of Ward,. Linda Lou Nipper Stevens, 84, of Cabot, was born Nov. 3, 1939, in Antioch to Elmer and Rothie (Glover) Nipper.   She passed away April 25.  Linda was devoted to God and her family.  She enjoyed working in her flowers and, when she was able, volunteered in the kitchen at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church student ministry’s after school program.  She was happiest when spending time with her grandkids.
