Toronto Photo Walks with a Leica M11 // 2024 This year is about learning something new, among other goals. One of those new things is to get back into bringing my camera with me everywhere and taking photos of things I see. More than that, it’s about discipline and getting better. I bring my Leica M11 everywhere with one of a few lenses. I have been focusing more on my 35 Summicron and 50mm Summilux.  What I’ve learned so far? Toronto is very monochromatic and dull in some areas. This doesn’t mean there isn’t beauty in the city though. Below is a gallery of what I’ve found so far. I ho ..read more

I will always recommend checking out reviews, and to do your research before you pick up any product. But grab a cup of coffee and let’s dive into some of my thoughts. With that being said, I hope to make picking a switch easier if you like the style of ..read more

my thoughts gem80 review keyboard by: NuPhy Photos taken in House by alex Intro February 15, 2024 5:47 pm The Gem80 is the latest keyboard from NuPhy and they are setting their sights on something more custom than their previous releases. In fact, they claim this is much more than a custom keyboard, so what is it exactly? Well, it’s a TKL with multiple mounting options that is competing with some other amazing boards in its price range. And that price range is $149.95 for the wired variant and $169.95 for the wireless version. I did take a rather in depth look at this bo ..read more

my thoughts qwertykeys neo80 review keyboard by: qwertkeys Photos taken in House by alex Intro February 8, 2024 11:23 pm QwertyKeys has been on a roll lately. With their Neo65 and Neo70 boards seeing success, I was excited to see what was next on the horizon for them. Well, they came out with a TKL called the Neo80.  It’s the latest from QwertyKeys and, in my opinion, one of the prettiest boards they have released in the Neo lineup! It has a classic design, with thin side bezels and a simple yet elegant side profile. The board starts at $110 USD for the plateless v ..read more

Mode Loop TKL Review my thoughts keyboard by: Mode Designs Photos taken in House by alex Intro November 29, 2023 8:09 pm The Loop is not a rehash or an upgrade to its previous TKL, the Eighty. It’s a wholly reimagined (from a build perspective) TKL. In fact, the only part used from the Eighty is the PCB. Did it really make sense for Mode to completely start over? Let’s take a look. Disclaimer: Mode is a sponsor of my channel but has no say and gives no direction to how my live streams go. The thoughts below are my own, and Mode did not influence this review. An Intro into the World of Mechanical Keyboards November 1, 2023 7:40 pm Your first view of mechanical keyboards likely happened like this: You saw a post on Instagram or were watching a YouTube video, and, in either case, there was a keyboard that looked old and new at the same time. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to lure you into the confusing yet magical world of mechanical keyboards. You probably have a lot of questions. What are these parts? What are these terms?
