Today, the International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3) announced its recognition of the Bulgarian Functional Fitness Association as the national governing body for competitive functional fitness in Bulgaria.

The International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3) has announced its recognition of the Strongman and Plural Sports Academy as the national governing body for competitive functional fitness in Cameroon.

The iF3 has now received the full report from Laurent Sellaslaghs, the investigator appointed to handle Victor Ljungdahl’s Administrative Complaint.
The investigator found that during the Power Test at iF3 Worlds 2023 the scores for Erik Vadahl and Morten Rasch Arnesen, while recorded in hundredths of a second by the chip timers, were rounded to the nearest tenth of second when entered into the leaderboard platform. In 2023, the iF3 decided to create a number of points tables based on the number of athletes in each class. We have created tables based on a range of athlete in the class to simplify the process and understanding for athletes and event organizers.

The International Functional Fitness Federation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with European event organizer Community Fitness Events (CF Events) to help further the growth and development of functional fitness.
As part of the Agreement, CF Events has committed to using the iF3 Movement Standards and iF3 Competition Formats as part of their events. CF Events has a large portfolio of events including the Dutch Throwdown and the Lowlands Throwdown, just to name a few. Today the iF3 announced that it has entered into an agreement with National Anti-Doping Organization of Hungary (HUNADO) to provide antidoping services at the iF3 European Championships in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary at the end of the month. Antidoping testing will occur at the event, as well as a one hour mandatory educational session for all competing athletes.
