Two Kent Law School students, Morton Thornton and Ella ten Doeschate, along with Johanne Thompson (convenor of the School Tasking project) visited the University of Warwick to watch the Champion of Champions Final of School Tasking, an outreach project based on the highly entertaining Taskmaster TV show. They threw their support behind the team from the Southern region. Two undergraduate law students at Kent Law School were placed joint second in the UK Sports Law Competition (UKSLC) hosted by Gateley at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester in June 2024.  The competition involved teams from 24 universities around the UK. The Kent team consisted of Dr Lauren Montgomery from Canada and Vanadia Permall Husraj from Mauritius, both first year Senior Status students on the LLB Law programme at Kent Law School and coached by Senior Lecturer, Johanne Thompson. Two undergraduate law students at Kent Law School reached the national finals of the National Student Negotiation Competition for England and Wales 2024, hosted by CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution), held at the University of Law, Moorgate in March 2024.
