I passed a British Heart Foundation shop in Durham there were a number of oldish cameras in the window with a sign saying 'Make us an offer' The only one that caught my eye was a Nikon D90. Well used but in reasonably OK-ish shape externally. No strap, but with a body cap. The rest were a mish mash of instamatics and plastic 110's. I have just got hold of a Nikon Z6 lens adapter so I can use my CZ Pentacon 6 mount lenses on this camera. There my be 50 odd years apart but my Flecktogon 50mm F4 wide open still gets top marks ..read more

I have two digital SLR's, both by Nikon, one being a D300s and the other a D90. As far as I am aware, both are from around the same era and use the same sensor. For practical purposes both have the same pixel count of 12MP. As far as I can see is the pricipal technical differences between the two are the D300s has 2 levels of Bit depth for RAW (NEF) capture, 12 and 14 whilst the D90 has only one.
