When I used my D 7100 to shoot Gymnastics in a poorly-lit venue, I read somewhere that the best max ISO setting for minimum noise was 3200. I shot at that auto setting with little or no noise problems. IIRC, the Auto ISO never got above 2500. I now have a marvelous D 7500...Two generations newer than the 7100, so I figure there must...should...probably...be at least some improvement in noise control, so I will set the max Auto ISO at 6400. I can't find any information on noise control for... Read more ..read more

I got the lens on fine, but didn't realize that the coupling mechanism was a pre-AI and not AI lens, and I got stucked the lens into the camera. I can't figure out how to unlock the lens without breaking the diaphragm rheostat. I got out the lens "bunny ears" and also tried to disassemble the lens from the front to the rear part, but I could remove only the first 2/3 elements of the lens and no more. (please watch the pictures) Anybody can recommend something to me, or to continue... Read more ..read more

I have a Nikon D7500 with which I plan on photographing the upcoming total eclipse in Texas. I want to take an exposure bracketed sequence of 5 photos in 1 stop increments every 5 minutes for approximately 2 hours. I can't figure out how to do this without pressing the shutter button every 5 minutes. I would like to only press it once and have it automatically take the 5 shot sequence every 5 minutes for the 2 hour period. I have tried with (C3) Self-Timer, Interval timer shooting, and... I would like to know if the D2h and D2x are wifi compatible. I know you can add the wifi adapter to it but I would like to know if the adapter is only used for transferring photo taken to a smart device, Ipad, or can I shoot live and have it transfer automatically to the smart device. I want to start shooting again but would like to know how to transfer directly from the camera while shooting. Thanks ..read more

Have read manual, checked on Google, Microsoft Edge, Chrome, YouTube and no one can state the actual steps required to lock up mirror on D3200. They parrot the manual only. My menu only says this cannot be performed at the present configuration. Need a person who actually knows. From a knowledge GOD that feels for others. What is the correct configuration? Thanks in advance, from the bald guy (hair pulled following false leads, or a Homer ..read more
