Now on view post-security within Concourse D (through September 2024) is an exquisite temporary exhibition of fourteen (14) captivating ceramics produced exclusively by Portland, Oregon-based artist Whitney Lowe. Aptly titled Finding, Lowe’s exhibition of skillfully crafted sculpture is intentionally refined.
Whitney Lowe’s approach to clay and the sculptural results directly relate to his 2-decade-long career as an architect and graphic designer. For 60 years, The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts has proudly presented unique art exhibits including more than 600 local, national, and international artists. Visitors can also experience live music on two stages, performances, kids’ activities, artist demos, and a variety of food. It’s free to the public (donations encouraged) and attracts thousands of festival-goers each year.

Dextrous multi-media sculptor and conceptual artist, Philip A. Starting tonight—Friday, February 3rd, as you drive along Airport Way you’ll see Portland International Airport’s Concourse E exterior awash in vibrant lights slowly and methodically morphing to represent roses, mountains, water, and even the distinctive PDX carpet.
These celebrated colors of our region are in partnership with the Willamette Light Brigade’s Portland Winter Light Festival (PDXWLF) theme for 2023—THE LIGHT OF STARS, bringing a warm glow to the city during the darkest months of the year.

The Port Art Program is delighted to present a dynamic and highly-crafted new temporary exhibition by Portland artist Jo Hamilton titled Open Entanglement. The PDX Rotating Art Program is honored to present a lively large-scale mural located post-security within Concourse D to ring in the New Year. Living and working in Tokyo, Japan, artist Shohei Takasaki has energetically depicted twelve symbolic animals within his mural titled Reflection for Junishi or Juunishi—the Japanese zodiac.
Takasaki’s radiant and playful combination of the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar for the Junishi mural is a playful representation of humankind, individual traits, and our unique personalities.
