No there not needed, I just shorten the stem length slightly to bring the coil closer to feet.

No I don't.
I did upgrade to full carbon fibre shaft though - DetectEd lower and Nokta Legend/Simplex middle. Rigid as a rigid thing
PS I'm usually underwhelmed by 3D printed bits of plastic TBH

Does anyone use a balance block on their 13x11 coil please as I have just got one and it causes the coil to rock about on its pivot point?
I have asked elsewhere in case anyone sees the same question somewhere else.
Thanks in advance,
Mm

For the D2 though I don’t see the point of a coil that’s a higher frequency than the one we’ve already got. Well not unless you are looking for gold nuggets. Maybe it’s just me but why would you need that for detecting in the UK? Maybe I’m missing something?
Yes, as far as frequency I agree - although a bit higher at the top end might help people looking for tiny specks of gold. For me, the advantage would be the size/shape. My favourite coil on the Nox, for snootling through the undergrowth or alongside fences or sea defences, is the Coiltek 10x5.

I loved my HF elliptical coil for the original Deus because the other coils, at the time, were much lower frequencies. The shape was great too. However, once they introduced the X35 coil which also increased the frequency options (although still not quite as high as the HF coil) I used that most of the time instead.

Quite a few D1 and D2 users have been wanting a 6" coil, not sure if Xp could manage to squeeze the electronics into a coil that size.

I knew about the 2nd nugget .Wondering if it will be better than the D1 HF 9" which for me was the best coil in iron
MR
Here's hoping!

I watched this video so you don't have to, and gleaned two nuggets:
1) XP acknowledge that some MI6s have intermittent problems connecting up when paired. XP Agents apparently have a 'fix' (maybe a flash update) available on request.
2) They are definitely working on a small elliptical coil (HF style).
