Hi, I've been away from decting for a couple of years and have a Deus 1 with an X35 Coil. Am I right in thinking that V5.21 is the latest V5 software and that V6 makes no changes to any operations other than to allow the use of the WSAUDIO? In which case I should stay with V5. For audio, I prefer to use the cip jack adapter on my WS4 with simple good qulity plugged in earbuds. I find the earbuds isolate external sound very well and are very comfortable for long time wearing. Thanks Statistics: Posted by paul530a — Thu May 02, 2024 10:57 am ..read more

I am not a Deus user, but a look at PDF brochures and manuals on the XP website strongly suggests that the Deus (and by inference, the Deus Lite?), is not a multi-frequency machine. It can be selected to use one of several frequencies, but cannot transmit simultaneously on those frequencies. The frequencies available are dependent on the coil used, be it the 'standard' X35 coils, or the HF coils. This image, for example, is a capture from the Specifications page of the Deus manual: Deus manual - freqs.jpg Strangely, I haven't been able to actually find the phrase 'Deus Lite' on the XP websi ..read more

You can fix the puck to the stem or the headphones headband. You can get either an adaptor to attach wired headphones or you can get the WSAII headphones and mount the puck to the stem. There is a setting to get the numbers to flash up large on the puck when you get a signal which is how I have mine set up. It is a lot cheaper option and I don't think the remote gives you much of an advantage over the puck and WSAII set up. You have the full Deus then, the op has a lite. I’m considering adding a Deus Lite to my collection, but a preliminary search doesn’t seem to give a straight answer as to whether it’s simultaneous multi frequency or not. I mean the one that can be currently had for just under £500. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Statistics: Posted by Erik_the_Viking — Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:05 pm ..read more

The version will show on the screens on startup. The coil can be paired with the remote and backphones if they are both on the same version. The coil can be paired with the backphones or remote only if the versions natch the coils version. If all the equipment is on the same version all will work together. You can chose to update all equipment to the same version anytime to enable everything to work together and also carry out any future updates as required with no impediments. If an item will not work check its on a matching version. Statistics: Posted by prstman — Thu Apr 18, 2024 5:44 pm ..read more

Hello all. I have been fortunate enough to acquire a Deus with controller and no headphones and a Deus Lite with backphones but have no idea which version numbers either one is. I wish to keep the best machine of the two with the controller. So my questions are as follows: 1. How do I ascertain, firstly, which version and age the full DEUS is? 2. How do I ascertain which version and age the Deus Lite coil and backphones are? 3. Are there any impediments to me "mixing and matching to get a full working machine? 4. Will I be able to update thereafter? Please pardon my ignorance but I'm new to ..read more
