JET Charge, Australia’s leading EV charging infrastructure company has teamed up with freight giant Team Global Express to establish an innovative electric vehicle depot in Western Sydney. This landmark project, backed by ARENA (the Australian Renewable Energy Agency) funding, aims to deploy 60 electric trucks with cutting-edge charging infrastructure.

We’re proud to have been awarded the contract to design, supply, install and commission the electric bus charging infrastructure at Elizabeth Quay Bus Station – marking a new step in electrifying Perth’s bus fleet and public transportation in Western Australia. The project is an initiative that is part of a $250 million collaborative effort between the Federal and State Governments, that will transform Elizabeth Quay into the first bus station in WA capable of supporting electric buses.

Round 2 of the NSW drive electric fast charging grants are underway, delivering bigger and faster DC charging stations in metropolitan Sydney and its regional areas. The new funding round consists of an $80 million investment, with the State aiming to install over 180 charging stations in the next two years. Round 2 of funding will run until the 10th of March 2023. Two funding streams are available for application: standard and fast-track streams. Additional funding rounds will follow over the next four years.

JET Charge is excited to announce that we have worked with South Australia Power Networks (SAPN), Mitsubishi Motors Australia, Nissan, and Wallbox to bring the groundbreaking technology of bi-directional charging to the Australian residential market. After three years of hard work, we are proud to have received approval from SAPN for the Wallbox Quasar V2G EV charger.
The Wallbox Quasar is exclusively approved for installation in bidirectional mode in the state of South Australia only (outside of approved trials).
