What an absolute honour it was for us to capture Baby Matilda’s birth by caesarean section. Performed by Dr Simona Fischer and her team from Adelaide Obstetrics and Fertility, Matilda’s arrival sends a clear message to anyone fortunate enough to view the footage – a caesarean section (c-section) can be an incredibly beautiful, special and very ‘real’ birth experience.
A c-section is a surgical procedure where a cut is made in a woman’s tummy and womb, usually just below the bikini line. A c-section can be recommended as a planned (elective) procedure or done in an emergency if it ..read more

Let’s talk all things air travel, domestic travel and international travel during pregnancy.
Whether it be domestic or international, flying while pregnant can be a source of anxiety for pregnant women. Each airline will have their own policy on flying while pregnant. Be aware that often they may recommend that pregnant women not fly after 32 weeks.
It is always recommended that you speak to your obstetrician about your travel intentions so we can check you and your baby are fit to fly and write a letter to the airline statin ..read more

EARLIER THIS YEAR, WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO CAPTURE THE BEAUTIFUL C-SECTION DELIVERY OF BABY MATILDA!
No words can really describe the amazing moment Matilda entered the world. It was an incredibly beautiful, special and very ‘real’ birth experience.
A c-section is a surgical procedure where a cut is made in a woman’s tummy and womb, usually just below the bikini line.
Some women elect to deliver via c-section, others are required to deliver via c-section for medical reasons and some are done as an emergency procedure if necessary for the well being of Mum and Baby.

We don’t know exactly why cravings develop during pregnancy, it may well be related to hormone changes, which can change the way foods taste or smell.
