The best Wedding Albums of 2022 So, another wedding-filled year has come and gone. Wedding albums galore! In the past twelve months, I’ve had the pleasure of creating some stunning albums for fabulous couples and their weddings. Some of those weddings took place this last year but I also get plenty of requests to produce wedding albums with images that are a good few years old. It’s NEVER too late to create your wedding album! A material cover and a natural feel were still key trends for wedding albums in 2022. Modern cover materials such as Buckram and Linen proved popular but there was an ..read more

Kate & Loren's Wedding Album A true labour of love, this month’s featured wedding album perfectly reflects K&L’s garden/nature-themed wedding. When they approached me, K&L already had a rough design which they were relatively happy with, so it was just a matter of tweaking and improving it. Featuring 24 double-page spreads in a 12×10 inch size, the album was from the Dreambooks Range. One big dilemma for K&L was which cover to choose to complement their photos and theme and after a fair bit of deliberation, they finally settled on the Light Grey Buckram. They had a custom-des ..read more

How to choose your wedding album cover Never judge a book by it’s cover, right! Well, when it comes to wedding albums, I have to disagree. Nowadays, wedding albums offer a wide range of cover options that are incredibly varied and versatile. What you choose can really make a difference to how your album looks and feels, as well as how it tells your wedding story. The hard part is figuring out where to start and making the right decision. Would a photo cover be a good choice? But what about a material that complements your wedding theme? The question then is which material to use and what to ..read more

Damien & Rebekah's Wedding Album There was a simple but strong brief for this bespoke wedding album…..elegant, classic and luxurious! Their wedding had taken place several years ago but D&R just hadn’t gotten around to creating their wedding album – it’s never too late though! The wedding took place in the stunning setting of Carcassonne, France with some beautiful backdrops and scenery. They chose the 16×12 inch Bellissimo Album in Antique White Genuine Leather to maximise the impact of their photos. D&R’s upgrade to Fine Art paper really helped create the elegant and luxur ..read more

Meera & Nikhil's Wedding Album This month’s featured wedding album is perfectly flamboyant from the beautiful wood cover with constrasting micro leather, to the design that showcased M&N’s colourful Asian wedding events in full. The stunning shade of Nogal Wood cover was constrasted by the Bordeaux Red micro leather which wrapped around the spine and rear of the album creating both a natural yet modern feel to the album. This was complemented with a matching Wood box.  The box and album cover were embellished with M&N’s wedding logo beautifully engraved into the Wood for the ..read more

How to choose the photos for your wedding album Nowadays, it’s pretty much the norm to receive circa 1000 photos from your wedding photographer which is amazing right!. Until you realise you can’t possibly include all of them in your wedding album and you need to choose which ones will make the cut…….severe brain ache and confusion ensues! I’ve done it myself; not only for my own wedding album, but for several clients who couldn’t face the task themselves and it’s hard, even without the personal and emotional attachment to those photos. So, just where do you start and what’s the best way to m ..read more

Elsbeth & Christopher's Wedding Album This month I’m featuring a beautiful traditional style wedding album that was a perfect complement to E&C’s English Country wedding. They opted for a 10×10 inch Dreambooks album with 20 double page spreads and a natural Buckram cover in Ivory. The additional touches of UV printing text in an elegant script font and a navy blue ribbon (to match the groom’s outfit) finished off the album perfectly. The design was in my clean and elegant Fresh style. ALBUM | No. OF SPREADS | COVER | BOX| DESIGN STYLE | LOCATION | PHOTOGRAPHER | 10×10 inch Dream ..read more

The best Wedding Albums of 2021 So, yet another year is over…where the heck did 2021 go?! I have to say it’s been quite a challenging year and I’ve felt the knock on effects of the lack of weddings in 2020 and the early part of 2021. But, thankfully, I’ve still had the pleasure of working on some beautiful and interesting wedding albums – from lockdown elopements in rural Scotland, a lockdown Christmas wedding in Ireland to producing several wedding albums that took places in previous years…it seems being stuck at home prompted plenty of couples to finally get organised and get their heirloom ..read more

Joelle & James’ Wedding Album

Joelle & James' Wedding Album Joelle & James didn’t settle for one wedding…they had two, exactly a year apart and at the same venue!  The first event was restricted by Covid rules so was a small intimate gathering, whilst the second was a slightly larger celebration.  There’s always the temptation to go for two different album sizes or cover materials (a good excuse to choose more than one of the many beautiful covers available!) but as both ceremonies were held at the same venue, J&J wanted to keep some consistency across both albums so chose the same size and cover; t ..read more
