Ken Roczen posted an injury update on his condition after a rear suspension failure at the Nashville Supercross last weekend. After further evaluation, Kenny revealed that he has a broken tib plateau, foot, and toe, but it will not require surgery! Pro Circuit Kawasaki Cameron McAdoo unfortunately sustained a shoulder injury during qualifying and was unable to race in the main event. He mentioned that he did everything he could to race but ultimately decided it wasn’t safe to continue. He will undergo further evaluation to determine the extent of his injury. Ecstar Progessive Suzuki Ken Roczen has provided an update after his brutal crash in the whoops when his shock broke and bucked him off the Suzuki in a cloud of smoke while he was in the fight for the lead with Tomac and Jett Lawrence. Roczen said: “I thought bull riding d be more fun. Getting some MRI’s on Monday. Knee, ankle and toes got all of it. We are doing some investigation as my shock body only had about 3h on it and we have never seen it malfunction like that. It wasn’t a seal or anything. We haven’t received official confirmation yet regarding what happened to Ken Roczen’s bike during the Main Event in Nashville. We suspect it might have been a blown rear shock, but we’re not mechanics, nor did we stay at a Holiday Inn last night. What we do know is that Ken Roczen is “surprisingly okay” following his crash in the whoops, according to his wife Courtney’s Instagram story. It was a challenging evening for the entire Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team in Nashville. West Region points leader Levi Kitchen experienced a hard fall right after the start of the Showdown, colliding with his teammate Cameron McAdoo. Kitchen stayed on the ground, and for a moment, it seemed like he might not return to the bike. However, recognizing that the title was at stake, Kitchen re-mounted and mounted a remarkable charge from last place to 14th. FXR ClubMX Yamaha’s Garrett Marchbanks had a hard crash off of the start of the West Region heat race in Nashville and the race would end up being red flagged because of it. Marchbanks updated his Instagram story tonight and it looks like a concussion and a broken thumb are the extent of his injuries, which we suppose is the best case scenario given the circumstances. Red Bull KTM Chase Sexton had a violent crash early in the Main Event in Nashville. He came up short on the double on the start straight and went over the bars into the corner. He was down for a bit before exiting the track on his own accord. And positive news for @chasesexton, he’s now been cleared of injury after exiting the 450SX Main Event in Nashville.
