I’m probably going to catch a lot of flack for asking, but I’m stuck. I’ve been working on swapping a 2001 5.3 into my ‘86 s10 since last September. It hasn’t been a quick process but that’s just how things go sometimes. The truck use to have the 2.8 in it. I have the engine harness 99% sorted at this point. Ok. Im at a breaking point with this build. 1999 s10I cant get the motor to sit down far enough. I orginally had the holley mounts. I couldnt get them to mount. I dont know if i was missing something or what. So then i bought dirty dingo mounts. DD-LS-S2. Passenger mounts is on pass side and driver side mount is right as well. I built it knowing I wanted to put a v-8 in. So it’s good up to about 600 hp. I just acquired a 2003 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3 ls and a 4L60E trans that needs rebuilt.
