The North American Floorball League (NAFL) exists to bring the highest level of floorball to North America, showcase the sport to a new audience, and develop the game in new markets. The NAFL was founded in 2020 and began to play in June 2022.

The first annual NAFL Combine will take place on Friday, March 10th, at the Elzie Odom Recreation Center in Arlington, Texas. Check in will take place from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m., and the combine will run from 10:00 – 12:00. Players are expected to be dressed and warmed up by 10:00 for a prompt start. Each player will receive a numbered shirt at check in to identify them during the combine.

The North American Floorball League is gearing up for its 2nd season during the summer of 2023. The first annual owners meeting was a big success, and many exciting developments are in the works.

North American Floorball League Commissioner Ryan Connor announced today that the inaugural season of the NAFL will be postponed until Summer 2022. The decision is due to the continued travel restrictions between North America and the European Union. “We waited as long as was practical to make the decision, but in the end the players, coaches, and officials must be given sufficient time to make travel plans” said Connor. The NAFL has completed its first season, and it was by all accounts a great success. High level competition, fun for the players, and a long list of learnings for the team owners and the league. One great thing that happened was the high level of interest from great floorball players all over the world. Players representing 11 different countries all played in the NAFL this season. The NAFL has released its individual game schedule for the 2022 season. You can find it here. The season has also been compressed to play the championship games during week five of the season, rather than week six. Over half of our players and officials are travelling overseas to play, and this change is made to accommodate the bye week for the World Games, without requiring athletes and officials to spend a sixth week away from home.
