  I don’t know where our inspiration came from but it wasn’t an overnight success with respect to pulling this all together. In fact, there are still some decisions to be made, however they’re not essential to construction, so I feel as though we have some time. Last September we gathered around our island after sourcing several finishes and materials.   Bathing is an experience I enjoy almost every day. I can’t go to sleep cold, so warming up at the end of the day is a must, especially in the winter. (I can’t fall asleep with cold feet!) In addition to warming up, it’s also a little ‘me’ time to unwind and relax after the day's events.  I try hard not to bring my phone into the tub, unless I want to watch a show or do a crossword or two.   2023 went by so fast. It doesn’t feel like very long ago that I was writing about what I learned in 2022.
