Four Leinster Rugby players have made the list of eight nominees for the 2024 Investec Player of the Year award. After coming through the games unbeaten to this point, including defeating the reigning back-to-back champions La Rochelle twice, Leinster Rugby’s four nominees are Caelan Doris, Jamison Gibson-Park, James Lowe and Dan Sheehan. Ireland head coach Scott Bemand has announced the Ireland team for their Round 4 Guinness Women’s Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 2.15pm). Bank of Ireland today announced a five-year extension of its sponsorship of Leinster Rugby, including title sponsorship of both the men’s and women’s senior teams, to run until 2028. Tyler Bleyendaal has agreed to join Leinster Rugby ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season as Assistant Coach in place of the departing Andrew Goodman, who has agreed to join Andy Farrell’s Irish senior set-up. Bleyendaal is no stranger to these shores having played 62 times with Munster before a persistent neck injury forced him into early retirement in May 2020.
