At tonight's meeting (Monday 28 June) we have Maria from TatterTales in Waipawa coming to talk to us about what this business does. Currently working as a Fibre Artist, featuring natural textiles, natural dyes, paper making, printmaking, book Crafts. She is affiliated with TatterTales, Waipawa, Textiles Studio, as a maker and tutor. Maria is an advocate for repurposing textiles. She is an Art History and Art teacher with a love for textiles, research and social history. Our April Meeting night is coming up. This will definitely be held on Monday 26th April even though this is ANZAC official commemoration day.  Earlier this month a club member won the Brother NZ Quilt Challenge for 2020. Sheryl got a big surprise when Christine, the Brother rep, and Dianne (Brother dealer) turned up on her doorstep to announce she had won the challenge and present her prize - a Brother PQ1500SL.
