This is a question about sleeper volumes.
More so the adaptation of those volumes.
I know this isn't the original intent or use for it, but referring to what
I've observed from the used game mechanics.
Can the same mechanic that is used for sleeper volumes, within POI's
be adapted to placeholder volumes? Different times I have read posts
referring to variable locations of loot.
The thought is this, If a sleeper volume is a spacial cube that controls
an object meaning zombies, can the mechanic be adapted to apply to other static objects
or placeholders.

Now I know the technical reason being that TFP had issues with the programming for sleep, so okay, that's fine, but I still think that when the story and everything is fully implemented, there should be a bad ending where the character wakes up in a padded cell, and doctors are looking at him saying he's going crazy from never sleeping ..read more

As the game stands, it has left the survival horror genere and is just an arcade shooter/Tower Defense game. Death isnt a penalty. Scavaging is a joke with perks/books and double looting PoIs. At no point after day one do I have to worry about survivng and I dont even need to build a base for forever ..read more

TFP;Anyone: if you have an answer for this I would appreciate it.
Once before I posted a question regarding grass On the terrain and increasing the volume to make
look less patchy.
It was initially answered by Madmole. It had to do with a memory overload and vertex rendering.
The original question was presented prior to the incorporation of texture 2d arrays.

Sorry, bit of a gripe here... I just built my first SMG5 in A20 - I'm playing on a coop world so I get to branch out in my build instead of relying on looting for weapons. At the same time I'm watching a supercut of some A19 gameplay and someone is using the SMG from that version.
The A20 smg looks terrible. Aiming down the sights is an ugly picture. I put a red dot sight on it to try and remedy this and it looked worse. I know they overhauled the guns for A20 to make them look more scrappy - the AK and Shotgun, Lever Action Rifle and Machine Gun look great - but the SMG5 doesn't look a ..read more

So @zztong mentioned jumping off a skyscraper on a motorcycle using a ramp a little while back and so I decided to try this last night. I absolutely recommend trying this at least once before A21 increases vehicle damage because it is great! Thanks, ZZTong for the idea!
I was on top of Higashi and built a wedge ramp (the one that uses 4m to go up 1m) on the side of the roof just below the helipad. I had to break a couple roof blocks because the roof there was apparently a half-height block and so my ramp wasn't flush with the roof, but that wasn't a big deal.  ..read more

When you put mods into a robotic turret, do they only "work" when you're holding it and using it as a gun? The magazine mod worked to give it a bigger ammo reserve, but the automatic trigger mod didn't affect the fire rate as I thought it would ..read more
