This is a public server with a password. The server name is ChickenWing City. So far we have a group of 5 people on the server. !!! I built my server yesterday, set the serverconfig file to desired settings, had a great play session for several hours with friends.  I exited the game through the proper menu buttons (no crash or force quit).  Went to bed happy with visions of zombie smashing dancing in my head.  All was well until I logged into the server today and a new player save file was created instead of loading the existing file from the previous days session.  Panicked, I asked one of the friends playing yesterday to connected to the server.  They had no issues.  Their player save file l ..read more

I edit my serverconfig and save it , nothing happens at all and server is setting the default settings. why is the serverconfig not working?   it is saved in H:/steamlibrary/steamapps/common/7days to die thats where the serverconfig was.   I was able to do the serveradmin.xml and that worked, but serverconfig will not put my settings. its saved and its there but server doesnt change to those settings.   I use notepad to edit the files ..read more

I'm just trying to get my head around how to add the new Sorcery update so my friends and I can play. Adding the Mod to the normal Mods folder causes a terrain issue (i.e. the ground is see-through or white), but I also didn't see a directory for appdata in filezilla. Just a bit stuck on what to do.
