I picked up a reasonable fare to HKG in September and have 18 days between arriving and departing. Currently I am thinking of spending the first 8 days in HKG (have a hotel booking on points) and then taking a side trip - not sure where to - I've been to Japan and Singapore before, and like both. Current plan would be to return to HKG a day or so before I was due to fly home. Would I be better doing the side trip at the beginning of the trip, spending maybe 48hrs in HKG on arrival, doing the side trip and then returning to HKG for the last 8 days of the holiday? I really want to try "Mak's noodle" I hear its very good. Anyone know if there is an outlet near/close to one of the AirportExpress stops, I believe they make 2 stops. Ideally it would be close by.
