I have had an intermittent chick-chick noise from an indeterminate place in my EV6 since I bought it in December. It is completely random and last for a few seconds or many minutes. It can go for weeks without making a noise and then happen every few hours. Noticed today that my GT line S awd consistently shows 3mph less than the speed shown on my Nextbase dashcam. When the dashcam shows 30mph the speedo shows 27 and similarly at dashcam 60, shows 57, at 70 shows 67 etc. How does the ev6 calculate speed, does it use GPS and has a built in 3mph safety buffer ..read more

My EV6 is on 57k miles and today started to lose power gradually. Once it was unable to go any further (tortoise symbol at this point), I called the AA. The engineer told me the 12V battery isn’t charging. He got me enough to get me home (not far) but to get me to KIA is going to involve AA again. Hi Not had car very long and today started to set up the charging routines. I have a Zappi 2 and PV panels plus battery storage at home. Being sunny today the battery is full so instead of heating HW I plugged in car and at first it started charging then stopped. Zappi says the EV is preventing the charge. How does KIA OTA updates occur specifically EV6, does the download only occur when the car is powered on or does it continue when the car is powered down? Is there any indication that an update/download is in progress? I know that when a download is complete the installation will proceed when the car is next put into a parking state as I got caught pulling into a supermarket carpark and was then warned not to turn off the power whilst the installation was in progress so had to sit and...
