Light fixtures on the ceiling were moving, I assumed I had vertigo.
I heard screams..
That's when I knew it was an Earthquake!
This was my first time experiencing an earthquake, and what more, just before a wedding assignment. I was nervous yet excited (Felt like Indiana Jones, for awhile).
After the tremors subsided, I checked on Karyn (the bride). Asked her how she felt and if she's ok. She replied, "I was worried at first but then Aly said that the world is excited about my wedding.."

After covering numerous weddings, I thought I've seen and experienced it all. But, this was not the case with Kel & Abbey's wedding in Clifford Pier, Singapore. On that day, I witnessed:
Strength coming from the ability to weather a storm together without breaking down or losing hope, I saw it in Kel & Abbey..

It took them 693 days,
3 venues,
5 dates,
2 Postponements,
to finally get here.
I vaguely remember it being a Monday, we met at a cafe to discuss the wedding, coming weekend. And on Wednesday, the government decided to go into a lockdown. This was their second postponement.
I felt bad, I remember how excited Eileen was when we first met, two years ago. Explaining to me in detail how she wanted her big day to be. Now, with this, the excitement died down.
