Having just started building a GWR Grange in 5" scale I thought it would be useful to document the process. It does not mention the author of the item but the artist of the line drawings was Ian Futers. Does anybody know where I could obtain some high resolution files of these photos ..read more

When I was very young (Circa 1970?) I had some Hornby Dublo 3 rail.   My father used to get it mended at a shop in North View Westbury Park  Bristol.   The owner also built Miniature Loco's for public ride on railways.  I am told that unlike other builders he fitted a 'freewheel' so the engines didnt thrash themselves to death when 'over running'   Anyone got any information on this builder, long shot I know ..read more
