How about these breathtaking mountain views! Growing up in the majestic mountains of Canmore, Michelle and Nic wanted their engagement shoot to highlight the stunning beauty of the Canadian Rockies. No matter the season, we always love heading to the mountains. This time, we were treated to the iconic Alberta mountains in their winter glory, with snow-capped peaks and forests creating a picturesque backdrop. We had an incredible time with Michelle and Nic and can’t wait for their upcoming wedding this 2024 season ..read more

The wedding ceremony is the most important aspect of the whole wedding day. It may not get the most thought or be the most expensive pieces of the wedding day, but it is the reason everyone got together in the first place, right? While a lot of the wedding planning gets focused on the reception, the meal, the party, the portraits and even the getting ready, the ceremony can become a bit of an afterthought for some people. It can be easy to forget what a unique and emotional experience your wedding ceremony will be so you want to make sure you get amazing photos to capture it. There are a lot ..read more

Lynne and Newton wanted to show off the Rocky Mountains for their wedding so this Ontario couple traveled all the way here to do so.  This wedding was so unique to us, as they had already gotten married the previous year and wanted to be unconventional and do all their photos a year later in the heart of the Rockies. This also meant that we had so much more time then we usually get for their photos as we weren’t hurrying off to the reception. We took advantage of this and just had fun with their friends and family as the Mountains really shined in the background. They had a solo dance pla ..read more

As we sit here with snow dumping on the ground we are already missing the wonderful magic of this year’s fall in Calgary. It may have just been the nicest fall, there, we said it. Bonny and Priscilla wanted those golden colours for their engagement session and they picked the best year for it. We spent the evening with them at Carburn Park, just getting to know them as the sun set on all the yellow, red and green trees. It really was a special fall evening and we are so happy it all worked out for them, especially because they are the sweetest couple. We love that they leaned into their hobbie ..read more

We love that we live so close to Kananaskis country, with its mountain views and emerald ponds, it’s special to get to use this spot for our engagement photography. Especially during an engagement session, when we get to spend time getting to know our couples and just having some fun with our cameras. Rianne and Tyler were a lot of fun to spend time getting to know. They brought their pup, Kai, who had the best concerned face, especially when picked up and kissed during their session. We also got the incredibly lucky with the weather as the rain and cold held off until the very end of the sess ..read more
