Betty and Harry’s love story led them to Jasper, where they celebrated their wedding with an intimate group of their closest family and friends at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. They said their I Do’s on the Lakefront Ridge, incorporating both their cultures: a Chinese tea ceremony and a Greek crowning ceremony. We designed a long table dinner outside the Milligan Manor, which encapsulated the feeling of a beautiful backyard wedding in the mountains. What you don’t see in these beautiful photos was the little rain cloud that moved in just 30 minutes before dinner was to start! Luckily, the ..read more

Madeline and Filip’s 2-day wedding was one we’ll never forget…for several reasons! Usually when we’re a few weeks out from a wedding, all the plans are well laid and we are simply confirming final details and buttoning up logistics. Unexpectedly, Maddi and Fil’s reception venue closed down just 3 weeks before their big day, and we were faced with the daunting task of finding a new location and moving their event. Not only were most venues already booked for the popular September weekend, but Maddi and Fil didn’t want to settle for a cookie cutter ballroom. With only a couple weeks to go, we pi ..read more

After riding the wild wave that was the pandemic with Goong and Gary, we were so thrilled to help them finally celebrate with their loved ones in July 2022. With Goong’s family coming to Edmonton all the way from Thailand, it was important that we rescheduled (twice!) in order for travel to be easier. Like all good things, G+G’s wedding day was well worth the wait. We held their early afternoon ceremony in the Wedgwood Room, and transitioned guests to an evening celebration in the grand Empire Ballroom at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. Enjoy this glimpse of their beautiful day. Credits: Wedding Pl ..read more

When we began the discovery process with Bethany + Mathew, we quickly learned they wanted to host a wedding weekend to bring together everything that is most important to them: family, friends, food and fun! This lead to the production of three unique events that honoured their cultural and religious backgrounds. The festivities began with an Indian Soirée at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. Guests were invited to have Henna art done in the Mehndi Lounge while experiencing traditional music and a variety of delicious food stations. The outdoor bar on the Empire Terrace overlooking the River Vall ..read more

Sabrina and Romeo had planned to be wed in New York City at the Rainbow Room in April 2020…we all know how that went. Another couple’s plans deeply impacted by the pandemic, and yet another resilient and optimistic response. They moved it home to Edmonton, Canada, and with only a 6-month planning timeline we worked together to produce a very different event than they had initially envisioned. Trading skycrapers for an entirely outdoor wedding, Sabrina and Romeo’s late summer soirée featured a mirrored aisle for their Sikh ceremony, live violinists, modern Indian cuisine, and two DJs. There was ..read more
