Lucy and Killian's wedding was a beautiful celebration set against the backdrop of the Fremantle Maritime Museum. With lots of guests travelling from Ireland for the couple, it was a perfect blend of showcasing the gorgeous setting of Fremantle & Port Beach as well as fun, heartfelt moments shared with loved ones. Ceremonies by Claire married the couple in Fremantle Maritime Museum for their ceremony, in front of the expansive windows overlooking the port, it provided a stunning backdrop for their vows. The bright pastel bouquets from Urban & Wild Co were glorious along with the cerem ..read more

Briony and Kyle chose the stunning Kidogo Arthouse for their summer wedding, and it was an unforgettable celebration. Briony and her bridesmaids got ready at an Air BnB on High Street, just a short walk from the ceremony and reception venue. This was not only convenient but the courtyard with painted stone walls was a gorgeous backdrop for photos pre-ceremony. The gorgeous bouquets the girls had were the flowers of the day from Little Posy Co! After the ceremony, the couple mingled with guests on the deck & lawns in front of Kidogo Arthouse with drinks & a grazing table then took a wa ..read more

THE OLIVE ESTATE | SOPHIE & ROBBIE

It was touch and go just before their wedding & we got the go ahead from the WA government that even though Perth was essentially in lockdown, weddings with under 100 people had the green light! It was the first wedding I have shot after 15 years in the job at the gorgeous Olive Grove Estate, and what a beautiful April evening amongst the olive groves. With getting ready, ceremony & reception on site, it was a relaxed afternoon that faded into the evening and even late into April, the weather was glorious ..read more

ROTTNEST ELOPEMENT | FIONA & STU

Stu and Fiona met living in Fremantle but both of them are ex-pats, from Canada & Ireland. Happily ‘stuck’ in WA during the pandemic, they decided to elope on Rottnest in October 2020 because there was not much chance of them getting to either country, or any family over any time soon. It was a gorgeous October day, and Helen Kinsella officiated their marriage at Pinky Beach in front of the Rottnest Eco Tent resort where the couple were staying for a few days, before we headed on foot to some of my favourite photo spots for an hour and then I left them to celebrate together & went and ..read more

Wedding Ceremony at St ColumbA’s Church, South Perth before Wedding reception at The flour factory The Flour Factory in Queen Street, Perth was built in the 19th century and as the name suggests, was a flour mill. Downstairs is a bar & eatery with a gin wheel if that is your thing, and upstairs is a unique room with wooden floors, exposed beams & white walls that you can make your own when styling your wedding. Perfect for cocktail & sitdown weddings alike. Sheridan & Luke were married in South Perth at St Columba’s Church which is one of my favourite churches in Perth as not o ..read more

Ebony & Giuls had their wedding ceremony & reception at Lamonts Bishops House in Perth in March. As Ebony, along with her bridesmaid got ready at the amazing Como, Treasury Building which allowed us to return after the ceremony to get portraits on the iconic balcony area.  Lamont’s Bishop’s house is a beautiful old building that stands amongst the high rises of the Perth CBD. It is surrounded by lush heritage-listed gardens, creating an oasis in the heart of the city. Full confession, Lamont’s is definitely on my list of favourite venues to shoot at, not only because it is so glo ..read more

WEDDINGS & EVENTS UNLIMITED COCKTAIL Wedding at BROOKLEIGH ESTATE Brookleigh Estate in the Swan Valley is the perfect location for a wedding, from the French Inspired Chateau, to the gorgeous gardens and stables (and horses just casually watching the action from the fields). There are so many locations to host different parts of your wedding day and as only one wedding is hosted there on the day, you can always implement plan B which is exactly what Liam & Emma had to do after Perth had very unseasonable rain in the lead up to their wedding day, meaning the lakeside gazebo area was a l ..read more

GEORGIA & SCOTT | MATILDA BAY ELOPEMENT

So before Georgia & Scott’s wedding, restrictions hit twice, first limiting gatherings to under 50 people then to 5 people, so in the couple of weeks before their wedding they were working with Weddings & Events Unlimited to make a new plan for their wedding day. Their day arrived and with the celebrant Chelsea, and their witnesses made up the 5 allowed at the wedding ceremony so I waited in the wings till Chelsea had finished and swooped in to ‘socially distance’ & photograph Georgia & Scott firstly on the beautiful shores of Matilda Bay, then we snuck across to the very quie ..read more

GRACE & HUGH | PERTH CITY FARM WEDDING

Grace & Hugh started planning their wedding after getting engaged on a mountain in Canada (hence the amazing mountain themed backdrop to their nuptials). They didn’t want a long engagement and were lucky enough to snag a last minute opening for New Years Eve at The Perth City Farm. So a whirl wind of planning then went ahead to bring in relatives and friends from around the world and put together a beautiful, unique wedding with some lovely (and cute) personal touches, a lot brought together by family & friends. Heart & Soul Events handled the styling with dinosaur potted plants l ..read more

Hannah & Josh met while studying the Dramatic Arts, both have entirely different careers now and spent more of 2018 apart than together because of those careers. But together they created a gorgeous ceremony & reception in two of my favourite places, Rottnest Island for their ceremony and Fremantle for their reception. Their ceremony was held at the basin with a backdrop of white sand and aqua waters (we won’t mention the flies). After photos on the beach we headed to some much needed shade where I love the windswept trees of Rottnest and the occasional quokka popping by. It was also ..read more
