I picked up a lower that was a bit scratched up for a good price and figured this would be a good time to make a thread like this. I know there are an untold amount of lower build guides online (most with more professional photography) but it won't hurt to have one of our own for CSC. Got to talking guns with @TZS96 yesterday and we segued into the dark realm of blackpowder.
And we discussed my last build, which wasn't recent, and some may have seen it on another forum, but for those that haven't, here you go.
Underhammers have been around since flintlocks changed to percussion (although I do have an example of an underhammer flintlock made by crafty Germans).
The premise is there is no reason to go through the side barrel design of a flintlock...

Hey all,
