Beretta 391 Advantage Wetlands Camo stock/forearm

Does anyone know where I could find either a replacement stock/forearm OR know a way to replace the soft rubber inserts on an AL391 Urika with the Advantage Wetlands Camo pattern? I bought my gun new in 1999 and the rubber has gotten gooey and feels like sticky modeling clay when you grip it. The gun still runs perfectly, but it is pretty gross when you are sweating hunting doves gripping a gooey gun. Cole doesn't have any camo stocks, and I can't find a stock set anywhere ..read more

Last week I had a gunstock in to a local gunsmith to have a “grind to fit pad” installed. He was looking down a barrel of a gun with one of these, cheap bore snake stuck in the barrel. He probably has some super duper high $$ model, I just had this delivered today. This one won’t fit down the barrel of a small caliber rifle but will illuminate. Down the barrel of a shotgun, drop something in the poo poo, a million uses ..read more

Trigger housing pin removal...hammerless

Hammerless nail set for removing a trigger housing pin. Lots of control on center of pin and the amount of force is controlled by how much pull you give the spring. Great on the fly tool and super handy. I used my pin punch to slide it out all the way but I'm going to get a hammerless pin punch soon. Amazon has them. Best ..read more

I'm looking to replace the forend on my older (1987) Citori to an (XT) Trap style forend. My Citori has the long 3 hole target style bracket. I've found several (trap style) forends but they all use the short 2 hole brackets. And found some forends without description of 2 or 3 hole brackets. I've searched Midwest and what I need is not available or discontinued. Anyone have one laying around or have a part number or lead of where to find one ..read more

Went online and found a replacement buttstock for my Browning BSS on Macon Gunstocks Web site. Called them and was assured that stocks were made on C&C machine and would be a DIR stock.(drop in replacement) Received stock and it did’nt even come close to fitting. Even the screw pattern for trigger guard tang and butt plate were way off. I called them and told them I would be returning stock for refund and was told that their company policy was absolutely no refunds. I was talking to owners... Sharp ejectors

I have a Browning 725 combo and the problem I’m having is when I break the action open I put my hand over it to catch the empty shell and the outer edge of the ejector is extremely sharp. I work construction so my hands are calloused but I’ve cut my fingers more then once on the sharp edges and it’s annoying and embarrassing trying to finish a round with blood dripping off my fingers. Would there be a problem with knocking the edge off the outer part? I don’t think it would take much but... Sharp ejectors ..read more

What Is This Stock From?

I was sent these pictures from a friend. She found this stock while packing to move. A bf of hers many years ago was a trapshooter and she seems to think he left this behind at her house. She made several attempts over a period of months prior to moving to contact him to retrieve his stock but wasn't successful and is now wondering what it fits. She said she knows it is not from her Citori XT which I agree but I have no idea? The head of the stock looks to me like it would fit a Ljutic or... What Is This Stock From ..read more

Follow along as I repair @Broncofan’s cracked stock

@Broncofan messaged me a little while back about fixing his cracked Citori XT stock, and with his permission I am doing a follow-along. Fortunately, this crack is only on one side (photo 1) and is far enough to the rear to enable plenty of meat for metal reinforcement. I use brass because it will not corrode over time within the wood of the stock. The crack most likely formed because that side-side stock ear was bearing more pressure than the other side. As usual, the... Follow along as I repair @Broncofan’s cracked stock ..read more
