I recently received my late grandpa's old raven p25 .25 acp. I had to replace the firing pin so I ordered a new one off of numrich.com. when I got the new pin in the mail I got it switched out and ready to use. Dad test fired it the day I got the new pin. The pistol shot like it was supposed to but it didn't eject properly and the shell casing got bent up.
The new firing pin sticks out farther than the ejector. Does this have anything to do with what happened during testing...

When I took the trigger assembly off this piece of metal(see photos) fell out on the table. What a way to start refurbishing an old 99M1 rifle!!
Can someone tell what part this piece is off of? Looking down into the receiver I see no jagged part and the parts look clean, no rust, etc.
I guess if I can learn to dissemble the receiver housing the broken part will reveal itself, but without some instructions I am a bit overwhelmed. Never attempted such before. Boy those screw heads are...

i'm having a jamming problem in my 1926 marlin 94 in .38-40 cal. I don't believe it's is the dreaded marlin jam problem, though. My problem i think has more to do with carrier rocker's function. I'm not getting the second round flooding into the chamber like you get in the normal marlin jam. What is happening to me is the round comes into the chamber and the carrier seems to drop down enough so the cartridge doesn't stay lined up so it can be pushed into chamber. It's like weight of the...

Need to source an insert for the forend of a old Ranger (Marlin) 103-11 O/U shotgun. The insert is knurled but non-threaded that allows the small machine screw to pass thru and hold forend stock to the forend iron (snap on type). Attached is picture of the insert, best I can measure the ID is 3/16" the OD of knurling appears to 3/8" and about 1/4" deep. Also note it has a stepped area that the machine screw pushes against for the holding tension. Have searched everything I can think of...

Hello and thank you for accepting me into the Marlin Forum. My Dad passed away last November and I was given his old Marlin 1894 that was made back in 1901. My brother was charged with dividing up Dad's guns and I was given the non-working model 1894 chambered in the 38-40 while he kept the functioning 1893C for himself.
The action works fine on the gun, but the hammer is stuck in the cocked position and will not budge. I am hoping to find a gunsmith who may have fixed a problem like...

Hey SWO1, my stock came in from Boyd's yesterday. Here are the pics of stock with the "V" blocks that needs bedding. Not actually pillars, they don't go into action screw holes but sit on top. I dry fitted the rifle to stock, everything lines up good. The only problem I'm having is with the detachable magazine. Dang thing is so tight when I attach it, I can't remove it without tearing the rifle down. Going to get the dremel and sand some where the magazine goes and try to loosen it up a bit...
