Former Georgia and California head coach Mark Fox was officially named to Mark Pope’s staff at Kentucky on Wednesday as an assistant coach. Fox most recently served as the Director of Student-Athlete Relations and NIL Partnerships at Georgetown University in 2023-24. Boone, one of the top running backs in the transfer portal, was the 2023 MAC Offensive Player of the Year at Toledo. He had 194 carries for 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Rockets last season. According to Eric Bossi of 247Sports, Jayden Quaintance is no longer considering following John Calipari to Arkansas. Quaintance was scheduled for an in-home visit with Kentucky head coach Mark Pope this morning. There was also a report that he planned to visit Arkansas and Memphis before making his final decision.
