On Friday (4/19), JEA notified 141 customers that they had received $645.23 in utility funds as part of the state of Florida’s Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). JEA directly credited the funds to the customers’ utility accounts. In all, the State of Florida released to JEA $90,977.43 in federal funds to be disbursed to customer accounts last week. This aid will provide much needed relief to these Northeast Florida families facing financial challenges.
