Can't seem to get Youtube to work properly via our V6 box. Up until yesterday we've had no issues, but now when we open the app we get a box on the right of the screen asking to either sign in or create an account, and no matter what you press this box will not disappear. Whether you hit the 'Okay' button to sign in, try to move the highlighted box up or down the screen, or press any other button nothing happens and you have to quit out and go back to TV. I don’t know if any of the old timers here will remember, but there was once a legendary forum discussion (I’m sure it was on here) from a neighbour questioning what an “RJ45 cable pull was” as apparently there had been a telegram van parked outside her neighbours house every afternoon and this is apparently what was happening. My landline is a traditional landline with Virgin it has stopped working I rang Virgin and after half an hour of jumping through numerous hurdles I finally got to speak to someone, I was told I need an engineer to call and this was arranged. I was then asked if I wanted the landline changing to broadband I had no idea this existed but as it was no extra cost so I agreed and was told the engineer would sort it when he/she comes. Not sure if I am doing the right thing but I do need a working landline phone. Has anybody else had a similar experience or can give advice ..read more

I've been on the Virgin website this morning to try and change my e-mail address for 'contact' ....... they sent an e-mail for me to click on to confirm but when I did it said 'timed out' because they took so long to send the e-mail After that every time I tried to get back on the site I got this message ....... One of my Virgin v6 boxes is piped around the house using a modulator, with 2-3 TVs able to access the signal. Each TV has a Virgin remote and a magic eye. This worked beautifully for several years under the old TiVo interface on the V6 boxes. I've just upgraded to 360, and as recommended bought a couple of URC7125 remotes, which have been programmed for Ziggo boxes. These remotes work perfectly when used directly with the old v6, now 360 box. But, they don't work through the magic eyes. No wiring has been moved, and no other changes.
