HOA dues pay for Spectrum cable and internet so I'm locked in. Good channel array, good pricing and good bandwidth so no complaints there. Need a DVR solution though. Spectrum DVR seems lousy, very low capacity, $30/month and that's only for 1 TV with no "whole home" type option.
Looking for the best DVR recommendation to cover 2-3 TV's to be used with Spectrum cable TV. Assuming it's going to be some TiVO combination? I guess the crappy Spectrum system + an external hard drive is also an...

If you are a hasty, impatient, judgemental or intolerant person, stop reading now.
I know virtually nothing about computers and wireless technology. My friend says a streaming video site I referred her to has huge buffering lag that makes it unusable, but with my hardwired internet, it works fine for me. She has a "dumb" flatscreen TV and uses Firestick / amazon prime and a wireless modem to get on the internet.
Why would SeriesHD site lag with her wireless / firestick, while it runs...

Hello,
I've had DirecTV for the last 12 years. We're used to it and don't really have any issues unless there's some torrential downpour and then that signal corruption only lasts a few minutes anyway. Worst case the LCC can tune in some OTA channels with an antenna in the attic.
Comcast is building into our area and they offer X1 and voice remote. They claim by the end of the fall we will be serviceable. From everything I've seen on line, the X1 system looks great and all, and I...

Have spectrum internet, 50mbps. It satisfies my computers and several Rokus.
I am looking real hard at landline service, 1 phone, but I cannot find an answer anywhere if it will interfere with my current set up.
I just need to know if it will slow my internet and/or Rokus down. The phone is only used several times a day with short conversations.
currently with verizon which is double$. Anyone have landline/cable experience?
Is this a mistake?
Any help would be greatly appreciated ..read more

So I have had DIRECTV for 10+ years. Comcast just Started to service my home development. I have a condo at the beach and get comcast/Xfinity HD as part of my condo fee. I understand that Xfinity has a streaming app. So my question is can I ditch my DIRECTV at home and just stream Xfinity at home since I have service at the beach? Do I also need to get Comcast internet to do that? If so do I have to get internet from Comcast at the condo or also at home ..read more

PROBLEM: Many channels not available on 2 set top boxes, but ok on other two. FOC RF Quality low issue?
Provider: Spectrum TV (Central Florida, used to be Brighthouse Cable)
I have 4 set top boxes, 1 digital adaptor box and 1 cable modem in my house. I use an outside splitter for individual coax runs to all. In one room I am using a Bright House provided amplifier/splitter (+4 db gain on both outputs) for one input and 2 outs to the set top boxes in that room. That used to work fine, but...

New to Cox (and cable for that matter), and getting an install on Monday. How is their Panoramic Internet box, and is there specific equipment or set-up I should be asking for? I currently use Google Mesh, so how does this compare to the panoramic box with or without the pods?
With the spiraling downfall of ATT (and associated price increases), I’ve finally gotten rid of DTV and Uverse internet. DTV a few months ago (streaming TV is GREAT), and just yesterday for uverse. Cox had a great...

Can you post a picture or screenshot of BET Hip Hop on channel 276? Preferably during a music video or program? That channel's pretty hard to come by nowadays, and Comcast in Atlanta's probably the only provider who offers the station. I can't even find any pictures of the channel from after 2015 (most recent shot below). This is for research ..read more
