I have found random documents going over some of the raw curl commands that can be sent to chromecast, but it is by no means complete and various people saying they've been successful in doing things but not sharing how. This was driving me.crazy for days. My receiver would play chromecast on my LG tv but when plugged directly to any hdmi port on my LG tv, nothing would happen. My LG would say starting chromecast, then nothing, no signal. I tried all Google troubleshoot recommendations and nothing. Finally, when I changed the aspect ratio of my tv to 4:3 then unplugged and plugged the chromecast back in (movie was already being casted from Netflix) it finally recognized it and I was showing the movie! This thing is pretty new, but has anyone been able to make it work with USB OTG ethernet adapters and hubs? Whenever I try the ones I have I end up on the error screen where it tells you to plug it into the wall instead of a TV USB port.
