And they are INCREDIBLE.
It’s not often you see an athletics department able to respond to criticism in a 48 hour timeline. It’s practically unheard of with jersey reveals. But that’s what Baylor did with the reveal of their anthracite alternate uniforms:

No Mi Casita this time
This morning it was reported that Baylor’s co-associate head coach Alvin Brooks III would be leaving to become the associate head coach on Mark Pope’s staff at Kentucky. This news comes after Kentucky tried and failed to hire Scott Drew for their head coaching vacancy and after other members of Drew’s staff left including the other co-associate head coach, John Jakus, who is now the head coach at Florida Atlantic.
Vacancies left by Bill Peterson (special assistant to the head coach; 7 seasons with the program) and Luke Simons (director ..read more

Drew is back, but there’s more work to be done.
Last week was a roller coaster of emotions filled with tweets, Tex-Mex, flight trackers, Chip Gains trash talk, and culminating with Scott Drew turning down Kentucky to remain Baylor’s head coach. Now the question is, where does the men’s basketball program go from here this offseason?
We know that freshmen phenoms Ja’Kobe Walter and Yves Missi have already declared for the NBA draft.
We know that Caleb Lohner has entered the transfer portal.

This news was only a matter of time, but it’s good to have certainty.
Moments ago Baylor freshman Ja’Kobe Walter confirmed the expected to Shams Charania—that he is declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft and forgoing his remaining college eligibility. From Twitter:
Baylor freshman guard Ja’Kobe Walter — a potential top-10 pick — tells @Stadium he is declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft: “I think I’m the best shooter in the draft.”
