Made a stand Thursday night that I will never forget. After setting up I started to scan and immediately saw what I believed to be 2 coyotes straight in front of me where I’d assume they’d come from once I started calling. I set my X24 volume to 12 cause I felt they were 250-300 yards away and began to play Baybee cottontail. To me it appeared they reacted to the sound and moved into the woods. We had a good last week of cat season. Ended up with three bobbers for season treeing two of them. Had some nice cats to run and managed to kill 4 coyotes this weekend running our total to 12. Dave has been after bobbers in Michigan behind our pack of hounds for a good many years..... He has had some close calls of notching a tag but it hasn't ever happened but we got it done in 2023.
