I just finished sprucing up my bedroom, and I figured it was time to take my sleep game to the next level. Today, I'm diving headfirst into the world of mattresses to find out which one reigns supreme: Silk & Snow or Douglas. Let’s find out why Silk and Snow was our the clear choice for my bedroom.
Say hello to Silk & Snow – the cool kid on the block when it comes to mattresses. I’ve ordered various mattresses from this Canadian company in the past and I’ve always been impressed with the quick delivery time. From the time I placed my order it only took a few days until the box was ..read more

I have been SO excited to share something with you and now that my results are in, I’m even more excited! I am openly not an avid gym-goer. I prefer at-home workouts and simple routines that are realistic for me to maintain given a crazy busy lifestyle as a working mom of two kiddos. I've never been self-conscious of my after-baby body, but there are things I don’t LOVE. Especially in my tummy area!
Well, Cutera has developed two different machines - one to attack unwanted fat called TruSculpt iD and one to enhance muscle tone called truSculpt Flex. I booked in at Nea Med Aesthetics and gave t ..read more

Not that long ago, I was talking about hand-me downs for the girls on Instagram. Between clothes, accessories and furniture, Noa hasn’t had a lot of her own stuff. Noa is definitely my girly-girl and I’ve been trying to switch out a few things to suit her personality more. One of the pieces I wanted to replace for her was her glider. The glider we have in there now was from when Isla was a baby, but we found for Noa’s room we needed something with a smaller footprint. Our current one is quite large and bulky.
While researching chairs, I wanted to make sure we chose something modern, but still ..read more

I recently decided to do something for myself. As a working wife, and mom of two, I very rarely have the time to spend taking care of myself. As I'm sure many of you can relate! In terms of morning beauty routine, I am VERY low maintenance. I moisturize, brush my teeth, and maybe fill in my brows a little bit! I'm fairly confident and try not to let the imperfections I notice on my body bother me too much. I do however, HATE my spider veins! I feel WAY too young to feel the need to hide my legs. Especially in the summer, I feel self-conscious in dresses, shorts and bathing suits, all because o ..read more

It's official!! The crib is gone and Noa has a big girl bed. I can't believe my last baby is growing up so quickly. It feels like yesterday I set up her nursery in anticipation of her arrival. Where did the time go!?
The style I chose for Noa's room is still similar to her boho nursery. I didn't want to change it too much because I know she is still so into her beautiful wallpaper and the adorable llamas we incorporated. I kept it feminine, simple and boho. Since Noa is my girly girl, I used a ton of purple and some soft pink while mixing in some blues and gold for contrast.

Now that my youngest is 2, I’m beginning to feel more like myself and I’m rediscovering my personal style. I always find that the first year or two after having a baby we, as mothers, often neglect ourselves because so much of our time and energy is put into our little ones. I’ve recently been trying to branch out and find my own style again.
Updating a wardrobe can be pretty simple when you are able to try things on to see how everything looks on your body. When it comes to accessories like eyewear, it can be a little bit trickier. In the past I have often felt overwhelmed with choices when s ..read more

What is the most adult decision you’ve ever had to make?
For me, there are three that come to mind: buying a home, starting a family, and getting life insurance.
When Isla was first born, I remember having this panic attack in the car with my sister. We were supposed to be headed up to Edmonton to see our parents, but I just kept thinking something bad was going to happen, so I made her turn around and drive us back home. I realize now that , it was an irrational thought, but when you’re 4 months postpartum, any mom can tell you that your mind can run wild!
When we got back to my house, I dec ..read more

I wanted to share with you guys a procedure I've been having done that is seriously benefiting my health and ultimately improving my life. When we hear about Botox, we think lines and wrinkles. I myself was really only aware of the cosmetic benefits Botox offers. I had NO idea there were such a wide range of solutions, aesthetically and medically, that can be achieved with Botox.
I've suffered from headaches and migraines for most of my adult life. I've searched high and low for a remedy, and can confidently say I have finally found one that works, and lasts. Dr. Sinha introduced me to Botox f ..read more
