They had climbed up three floors of scaffolding and entered the block of flats I live in through an open window.
I was expecting abuse but all I got was a half hearted "but my mate lives here" to which I just raised an eyebrow and then he went "sorry mate" and that all traipsed off down the stairs.
Don't get me wrong, the kids involved are feral twats but I'm genuinely more annoyed that the scaffolding company have made no effort to stop kids climbing up five floors and dicking about.

So, first of all although I won't see my sixties again, I'm relatively fit. I walk for forty minutes or so most days unless the rain is horizontal and my wife and I are both planning on getting our walking boots on tomorrow and making the most of the promised good weather. I'm just making the point that, although I'm getting on, I'm still physically capable

I went to first day of jury service today, 18 called, 12 selected from them and then that was it for the day. Just got an email telling me I'm not needed tomorrow but to stay on call.
Do any of you have experiences of getting called after this email? 2 weeks pay I'm missing and I just have to sit around like a lemon ?
