It was already a risk to award an indoor cycling event to a country where artistic cycling has never taken place before – but it was worth it. The first round of the Artistic Cycling World Cup 2024 in Tarquinia, the Etruscan city north of Rome, was an experience for indoor cycling, coaches, assistants, and all the fans who traveled there, and sportingly an unexpected success. Discussions and requests preceded this event. Luigi Bielli of the Italian federation was persuaded for a long time. He also found great supporters for our inquiries. The Ukraine team is very happy about the support from VfH Worms and ICWW. “We wouldn’t have been able to travel to Worms and Amorbach with our own funds,” said coach Natascha Geizj, expressing her gratitude. Without financial help, Team Ukraine will not be able to afford the trip to the World Championships in Bremen. This is a great incentive for further earmarked donations to the ICWW account. On the occasion of the UEC Indoor Cycling Junior European CHampionships 2024 in Amorbach, Germany, Rolf Halter (Chairman of the ICWW) handed over € 500 in donations to the Ukrainian delegation leader Ti ..read more
