My materials have been exhibiting strange behaviors since update 6, mainly regarding glossy reflections: often the material shows no reflection at all, even though I have configured it correctly. I have already tried a clean uninstall of both SketchUp and V-Ray, but the problem persisted. Hello, I'm using Sketchup Pro 2022 and V-Ray version 6.20.02. When I click Light Gen and click "Exterior" and "Generate Variants", the "Calculating light positions..." window will show. But when it's done loading, it just goes to a blank white window with no light variants showing. An error window then pops up. The Light Gen window stays blank white until I restart Sketchup, but trying again just repeats the issue. Last time I tried generating light variants, it worked perfectly. That was when the model was a lot more bare-bones though. What can I do to make this feature work again ..read more

I am embarrassed to ask this question because it is so basic, but I am following a tutorial to learn to use V-Ray in SketchUp and am now defining the properties of a spherical light. I created the sphere size to be about the size of an incandescent bulb, and placed it maybe 3 feet from the object in the tutorial (a chair)I set the Units to "Luminous Power (Lumens)" and set the intensity to 1500 to simulate a 100W incandescent bulb. Hello, I am having an issue when rendering large images (above 10000x10000 px) because the prepass starts well at 100% CPU power and after some time the speed decrease bit by bit until 8% of the CPU power. I am rendering on Medium settings with AMD 5900X. I have tested this on images that have large grass areas on all the image and it is obvious that the start of the prepass rendering is much faster than the end.
