A Madison man was taken into custody on Monday evening following a theft at an east side supermarket, according to Madison Police. While on patrol for a traffic safety initiative on the 800 block of East Washington Avenue, Madison police officers were alerted to a theft incident at Festival Foods. They observed the suspect attempting to flee the scene, police spokesperson Stephanie Fryer reported. The suspect darted into the road, moving toward oncoming vehicles, yet remained unharmed. Study reveals Wisconsin is second-best state for mental health care

A new study from medical marijuana advocacy firm Leafwell has revealed the states with the best mental health care, with Wisconsin taking the No. 2 spot. 20.78% of U.S. citizens live with a mental illness, which is equivalent to over 50 million people.
