I have a 2005 xb that needs a paint job, has some smallish dents, needs new lock actuators, windows get stuck at times, broken hatch handle, broken rear passenger handle, but still runs good. I’ve always wanted one with a spoiler, nicer paint job, and nicer wheels.. Is it cheaper to buy one that looks/works good or better to fix up the one I have? Rigging up my 2012 xB for fly-fishing expeditions. Removed the rear bench seat (never used) for extra space, made a bed with plywood and a Thermorest mattress, have an Explorer 2 SUV Tent that hangs off the open back hatch for more room and ventilation (bug screen). Installed a deep cycle battery to store the energy from a 100 watt solar panel the fits under the bed when not on top gathering sunlight... Hello all, I just found this site searching for an answer to my problem and found toastermafia's excellent illustrated walkthrough with pics of dash panel disassembly, but this did not help me fix my problem. Scion xB 2010 (manual). My airflow selector knob is stuck in the left half side of the dial and won't go past the top of the dial. It doesn't appear to be the dial selector itself, almost like something blocking the internal baffle. Maybe a linkage has come off inside, or maybe... Hello all-recently purchased a 2008 xB and am pretty happy with it so far. I did have a question that I am hoping you all can help me with. Is it possible to get the front seats to slide back any further? I know there isn't a lot of room but I would love to get that extra few inches if it can be done.
