Hullo.. I've seen the guides on evolution and fq101.co.uk and they all make it seem so easy. But is it actually easy to replace the alternator in a Smart Roadster Brabus? They say to drop the. engine a little and such like, which in theory should be a nightmare, but they say there's only a couple of bolts and support with a trolley jack. All things that I have. My worry is that I really need to take the current alternator with me when I go get the replacement as people have said the vin number shows up a different one. Apparently several were used. Hello! I have a 2007 Smart Fortwo 451, and it doesn’t lock from the outside when I press the button. When I’m inside I can lock it, but outside I can’t. Sometimes it works but most times it doesn’t, and it’s not ideal to leave the car unlocked anywhere I go… Do you know what might be the problem? Hey everyone. I lifted my smart car with the BRAAP 3” lift from Facebook. I absolutely love it however there’s a chime that’s similar to the seatbelt one that won’t stop dinging. I’m assuming since my brake light and ABS light is on this has something to do with it. The chiming stops when I get to a stop sign or stoplight but resumes when driving.
