INDIANAPOLIS Some parents are preparing to pull their kids out of IPS School 87 over safety concerns after a lawsuit alleges a teacher at the school encouraged attacks on a second grader. INDIANAPOLIS Three people, including a child, were rushed to the hospital following a late Wednesday night apartment fire on Indianapolis north side. Pike Township Firefighters were called to the Woodbrook Apartments near West 52 nd Street and Georgetown Road around 11:30 p.m. Fire officials say the fire started in a first-floor unit and moved to the second floor. INDIANAPOLIS An 18-year-old man died following an early Wednesday morning shooting on the city's southwest side. IMPD officers were called to 3201 S. Holt Road, just before 4:00 a.m. Wednesday on reports of a person shot. Investigators arrived to find an individual lying in the street. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
