Out of all the teams to look at this winter, none are more polarizing than the Pius X Girls team. Led by Journal Star Co-Coach of the Year Ryan Psota, the girls ended last year with a 19-6 record, a shockingly high number of losses for the bolts. “Last year was disappointing for us.” Said coach Psota. “It’s the first time we haven’t qualified for the state tournament in a number of years.” However, this year the girls are looking to lower that number astronomically.
