Student Government officially has a full cabinet following the last meeting of the semester Wednesday night.  During the meeting, President Martin Hursh, a sophomore in economics, presented the State of the Student Body Address.  “We have a year. During that less than a year remaining, we can’t lose sight of our principles. Cyclone men’s golf teed off Monday morning, opening the three-day Big 12 Championship in Trinity, Texas, and finished 12th among the 14 conference teams. The event began Monday morning with two rounds of play and concluded Wednesday. The team entered the event seeded as the No. 11 team in the Big 12. The Cyclones kicked off one of their biggest meets of the season Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Drake Relays. On day one of the relays, Iowa State had two athletes compete, both competing in the women’s heptathlon. After day one, Kiersten Fisher sits at 22nd in the women’s heptathlon with a total of 1488. In the 100-meter hurdles, Fisher placed fifth with a time of 14.13 seconds. In the high jump, Fisher did not post a score and therefore did not place, which was the same case in the 200-meter dash.
