As of 6 a.m. Monday, University of Michigan students set up a Gaza solidarity encampment on the Diag, planning to remain until the University meets their demand of divestment from companies profiting off Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. Vision 2034, a set of guidelines that outline a vision for the University of Michigan over the next decade, was released April 8, accompanied by a message and video from University President Santa Ono. The report highlights four impact areas, seven core investment commitments and the foundational support plans and strategies that Vision 2034 will continue to build on.
