Question about Virgin 360 and multi room
AVForums » Cable TV & Virgin Media TV

I'm tempted with an offer Virgin for the full TV package along with Multi room with a mini 360 box. I've only just realised that both the main 360 STB and Mini both require a coax connection for Live TV. Id just like to know where these coax cables will be terminated? I'm guessing the main STB would be wired to the main coax box on the wall. Which wouldn't be a problem. But Where is the mutil room mini box terminated? Because if its to the same virgin box on the wall near the main... Read more ..read more

Virgin Stream box audio issues

Virgin Stream box audio issues. I've had a stream box since October and I'm generally very pleased with it. But its very frustrating that it's audio capabilities, seem to offer an either / or choice, rather than 'smart' solutions. I have the box plugged into an 2022 LG tv, then connected by eArc HDMI to a Denon X6200W AVR in a 7.4.2 setup. If I select 'follow content' on the box then the AVR shows that a Dolby Digital + signal is being received through 5 channels and output to all 13... Read more ..read more

I need to relocate my broadband connection to another room, but would like to leave the original cable in place, just incase I move it back again in the future I asked VM how much they would charge to relocate it, but they said £75 They used to charge £25, but it has been increased (dramatically) recently. I'm not paying them this much, and I don't want to wait in another day for them, so I'm going to get it done myself. I've been looking around for some cable... Read more ..read more

I have Spectrum cable and i'm looking for a device that i can hook up in between my cable box and tv that will record shows on mp4 files or similar that i can save on a flash drive or my computer. Does such a thing exist? Forgive, me, i'm behind the times. The last time i did this sort of thing i was using a DVD recorder with analog cable. From what i can see now, the cable boxes only allow you to record a show on their DVR but there's no direct way to transfer the files onto a flash... Read more ..read more

Image Issues on HD channels Virgin V6 box.

Hi all. This last few weeks I've been having pixelation issues on some but not all HD channels on virgin media. It's most noticable on E4HD, FOXHD, ITV2HD and Sky witness HD. I've tried restarting the v6 box, checked all connections and refreshed the connection to the virgin network. I doubt it's the tv (samsung q60r 4k) as there are no issues with the PS5 or streaming apps. Any suggestions before i ring Virgin? I'd like to avoid a visit from an engineer in the current climate. Thanks ..read more
